What we do:
Rx Optometry provides primary eye care which is the first level of eye health services provided by optometrists and opticians in Aman Suria, Petaling Jaya. Aims at detecting early signs of eye conditions via comprehensive eye examinations and managing common vision problems with prescription eyeglasses. If advanced or surgical care is needed for severe eye conditions, we will refer patients to eye specialists/ophthalmologists.
Comprehensive eye examination for adults: Eye power test, eye muscle test, dry eye test, eye pressure test, cataract screening, diabetic retinopathy screening and glaucoma screening.
Comprehensive eye examination for children: Eye power test, eye muscle test, lazy eye assessment, colour vision test and 3D vision test
Prescription eyeglasses are corrective glasses that can improve your vision based on your eye power, be it for myopia a.k.a. shortsightedness, long sightedness, presbyopia a.k.a. rabun tua/老花, astigmatism a.k.a. silau/散光, lazy eye and more.
How we do it:
A comprehensive eye examination will take about 30-45mins including consultation.
Comprehensive eye examination is free when you prescribe glasses or contact lenses value more than RM109.
Comprehensive eye examination for adults is RM109; children RM79. Free when you prescribe glasses.

Relax lens glasses are designed to reduce eye strain caused by prolonged screen time and close-up work. They feature a subtle boost in lens power in the lower portion, which helps the eyes focus more comfortably during near tasks. This makes them ideal for students, office workers, and anyone who spends long hours on digital devices.
Double aspheric glasses have specially designed lenses which makes them thinner and lighter than regular lenses. They reduce distortion and provide clearer vision, especially for people with high prescriptions. This makes them more comfortable and cosmetically appealing by reducing eye minification effect for those with strong prescriptions.
Multifocal glasses are lenses that have multiple prescription zones to help you see clearly at different distances—near, intermediate, and far. They are ideal for adults with presbyopia (also known as rabun tua or 老花), a condition that makes it harder to focus on close objects as you age. These glasses allow seamless vision without needing to switch between different pairs.
